This page is dedicated to the music videos I've made with the footage I've gathered over the last several years at Union Square. There are many Amazing Strangers who are summed up better in a music video format.
If you've written a song about somebody featured in my Amazing Strangers send it my way! I'd love to make a music video of it with the footage I've got of whoever it is. Come on. They deserve it!
Below is one I made for LCD Soundsystem's song "New York, I love you, but..." Gothamist loved it. I hope you do too.
Freddy's been hangin out at Union Square for as long as I can remember. Since at least 2003. Putting together this music video of him to the 60's hit "Do the Freddy, by Freddy and the Dreamers. The song and our Freddy are such a perfect fit you'd think it was written for him.
This video contains footage from one of the many times we got to witness him battling his many demons, and an interview about, and during the day Michael Jackson died.
I don't know what it is about Inna, but when she steps in front of a camera she hits the shots like she's been practicing in front of a mirror! Which wouldn't surprise me if she that's exactly what she's been doing. Whatever it is though, she's doing it right.
Clips here include the day she lapdanced Christian tourists, hung out at the park topless, and lots of never before seen footage. And if you want a version of the vid you can send to your grandmother, here it is a little more censored.
Last I heard Inna split to LA to act on her dreams of being a porn star. She will be missed.
The first day I ever saw Morgan I said out loud "I hope she sticks around this park. I want to add her to the card so badly."
And despite what you might think,
much of that sentiment was on account of me finding her cute. Cute in her own, unique krusty punkrock junkie way that only she could pull off.
This video is one of the liveliest dedications to heroin I've yet to capture on film. Leave it to OCD, Morgan and the gang to put out one of the best Brown Sugar tributes I've ever heard!
