A
Christian tale of hope & love.

To
follow is an incredible story being sent out across the Internet
in order to spread the news of God's love, mercy and magic! Please,
I beg you to read it and then, reconsider how you look at dark
alleyways when God is by your side. It begins with a young college
girl "Diane" and her walk home in the night, alone...
or was she? Fact? Or fiction? You decide!
Diane,
a young university student, was home for the summer. She had gone
to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each
shared their various experiences of the past year.
She
ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone.
She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only
a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees,
Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger.
When
she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she
decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed
a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She
became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection.
Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped
around her, she felt as though someone was walking with her.
When
she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man
and arrived home safely.
The
following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had
been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had
been there.

Feeling
overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been
her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to
help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station.
She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story.
The
police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to
see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed
out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the
man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down
and confessed.
The
officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything
they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one
question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her
When
the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone.
She had two tall men walking on either side of her."
Moral
of the story.. Don't underestimate the power of Prayer! Gives
ya goose bumps doesn't it!
This
is to all of you who mean something to me, I pray for your happiness.
The
Candle Of Love, Hope &Friendship. This candle was lit on the 15th
of September, 1998. Someone who loves you has helped keep it alive
by sending it to you. Don't let The Candle Of Love, Hope and Friendship
die! Pass It On To All Of Your Friends and Everyone You Love!
May
God richly bless you as you send this story on. Please keep this
candle alive.

| Im
pretty sure that you have heard about JESUS CHRIST |
What is possibly
running through your mind having a heartless website like
that?
Im pretty sure
that you have heard about JESUS CHRIST and what he has done
for all of us in this dreadful world that we live in.....
It is not a funny issue about Jesus dying for all people even
YOU on the cross for yours, mine and everyones sins he carried
the sins of the world on his shoulders so that you can have
a choose in a manner how you would like to live your life
even your family girlfrend /boyfriend and friends cant compete
with his love for you can you honestly say that you love someone
so much to get crucified on a cross and beaten to almost death
were flesh is ripping off and your just wanting to hurry up
and die but the worse has not happen yet I mean really think
about it use your imagination you know you have one and yet
they put a crown of thorns on you after getting whipped by
a whip that has glass and any pointed objects that it can
hold just slapping your body and ripping the flesh off just
so that your love one can live and everyone that you love
is watching you and mocking you and laughing at you and spitting
in your face...I know that i am not that brave and next you
have to carry your own cross while you are lifeless and are
suffering and gasping for air that is very hard to imagine
but it is true Jesus went through this and when he was hung
on the cross the same people that he loves hammered stakes
into his hands and feet and he was in so much pain but he
was strong for mankind and he knew that he had to go through
the toughest punishment anyone had ever experiance just so
we can be able to live Can you possibly find it in your heart
to let him in because if you dont then he suffered all the
pain for you for nothing just think about it would you do
this for someone you love alot of us would take a bullet but
wouldnt dream of being in Jesus' place...... I really hope
you think about what i am saying because this is not like
im trying to cram anything down your throat im just trying
to have you understand please email me back thank you and
remember God does love you and will never forsake you because
he knows how that feels and why would he do that to us?
thank-you
sincerly,

Nicky,
Yeah, I also heard they constructed a machine gun that shot
screwdrivers and they shot Him in the head with it for like
30 minutes!
If what you just
wrote (without using one period or sentence break) isn't "cramming
down people's throats", then I don't know what is.
Sure, it was a
lovely gesture on His part (dying for me and all), but David
Koresh made all of the same claims then he got burned alive
for all of my sins too. Do I have to believe in him as well
simply because he suffered lots too?
I know this is
crazy of me, but I like to examine claims like that close
up before I dive head first into worshipping the fellas. And
if the claims start contradicting scientific fact and common
sense, I start suspecting fibs. Then, after I do that and
further claims are made that the fellow raised from the dead,
said good-byes to his Pallbearers, and floated up into the
clouds, I glare that teller of long tales with a sturgeon
wince, pierce my lips and hiss: "You gotta sssscrew looossssse
ssssirrrrr!"
And then I'd proceed
on my merry way leaving them to drown in the foam that gurgles
from their stir crazy throats.
Know wha' im sayin'?

by a friend to your site, and i say its interesting. I love
how you question, but with rude behavior how are you to attract
new ones, u relized soemthing christian have a frim law to
belive, allthough many chose not to follow, your inspiring
a generation, which i really don't approve, i would like to
debate, if your willing, i have a aim\aol screenname, many
people say they pray for you, but that makes u feel the same,
they just done that alot, and they think it means alot, deep
in your soul, u made everything comedic, i truly belive in
a god, since i studied amino acids, and different variation,
read the case for faith, its in your brain, your attached
to things, i am to, we all are, but i don't thinking picking
on the unfaithfull ones will help them at all, alltho u have
a freeedom, i disaporove of what u do, but i'll always defend
your right, and i think theis gives us a bad message, too

After reading your
email, I've concluded that I have a very strong opinion which
I feel a need to share with you.
Mike, when I read
your email and saw the manner in which you express yourself,
and the tiny glimpse you gave me into beliefs, I cannot fathom
a suffering more great than to be roped into an aim/aol chat
debate with someone such as yourself.
You need to lay
off that comma key and rediscover the magic of the period
and the paragraph. The time you spent studying amino acids
should have been spent studying the English language. Only
then will you be able to tempt others into chatting with you
on the Internet.

| Hello,
I have just one question. Why did you create that website? |
Hello, I have just
one question. Why did you create that website? It's disrespectful
to the Christian religion and is disrespectful to the Christ.
He suffered for everyone and he was thinking about everyone.
So could you just answer that one question?

Yes, but just that
one question.
I made the site for profit. I am very religious, but there's
just too much money to be made off of this. But don't worry,
I believe all the same stuff you do, so I'll be going to heaven
and everything.
Thank you for the
email.
Bob
PS. Oh! Can we
just keep this between you and me? There are some people who'd
really get angry if they knew about this.

| I
don't want to correspond with you. |
I don't want to
correspond with you. I just want you to know how appalled
I am at this site. Bob, you are tampering with God. This site
is sacriligous. I won't quote you verses to prove my point,
but deep within you, you know this is wrong.

I don't want to
correspond with you either but I will tell you that, secretly,
yes, I know this is wrong. I don't think you understand how
much money is involved here though. I'm talkin' LOTS! Like
upwards of several-thousand-dollars "LOTS".
I've done a lot
of soul searching and I know that God still loves me no matter
what I do, and that's good enough for me... at least for now.
When I clear my first $10,000 then I'll start with the take-backs
and apologies.
Email me back.
