Hey Bob,
I'm a big fan of the site and I just wanted to tell you about your
Jesus
magnet set being on the local news here in my hometown of Philly.
It's
being sold at this store [Urban Outfitters] and they had this guy
who saw it and was really offended by it and emailed the store and
everything. Then the news reporter bought one of the sets and was
showing people around the mall, and one person said that the magnet
set was someone trying to cash in on the release of "The Passion".
I thought that was stupid because Jesus Dress-Up was online long
before "The Passion" was released.
It was
on the Channel
10 news. There weren't any real specifics about it. They mentioned
how it had the devil costume and skull t-shirt and they showed the
"Hang in there Baby" sign. Most if not all of the people they showed
it to said something negative about it. That's all I remember about
it.
Just
wanted to let you know in case you hadn't heard and just wanted
to see your thoughts. Keep up the good work on the site.

Horse

Bob,
I'm a big Bob fan in Philly. Yeah, NBC10 really torched you. "Sick"
was the word that I remember from the man-in-the-mall interviews.
I guess we'll see what kind of spine Urban Outfitters has now, won't
we. The NBC10 site has a link
to order a tape of any broadcasted segment. You should get the
clip on your site as an mpg file. Great advertising! [Price
to purchase the 2 minute segment on VHS: $126]
It always
amazed me that in our society those who believe only in what they
see, hear and touch are considered abnormal, while people who believe
there's an invisible being passing judgment on their every action
are considered normal, let alone sane. Some people need to get off
their knees once in a while. If they did maybe theyıd have time
to learn how to spell.
Blasphemously
yours,

| I
just saw the Jesus dressup on the news. |
I never heard of
you before but I just saw the Jesus dressup on the news. I
like your website and the other things on it but doing one
of Jesus is just in bad taste, I guess maybe when the other
people copied your stuff it was ment to be.I know it's your
freedom of expression and it's also my freedom of speech.
Thank you for your
time,
Bob Tyler

Damn. Am I getting
a lot of bad press? I can't believe this is happening. Urban
is the one whose responsible for this, not me. I just make
the toy, they're the ones who chose to sell it in their stores.
What exactly did
the news say? Did they support my freedom of speech?

Oh my god. Shoot!
Is there anything I can do? You wouldn't happen to know the
number of the Channel 10 News in Philly, would you? I should
probably call them up and find out what I should do.
Please let me know
if you have any of that information.
Thank you.
